Day 2 - Calgary / Banff
Leaving Calgary this morning, we’ll enter the Rockies through the green and gorgeous Bow
Valley on a short and super-scenic run to Banff National Park. The area is so inspirational
that its full title seems to be ‘Beautiful Banff’, and the town itself is a great blend of
shops, eateries and activities. There’s a brief orientation tour on arrival and the rest of
your day is at leisure.

Day 3 - Banff
Canada's first National Park, Banff began as a modest 10-square mile area back in 1885.
Now protecting 2,564 square miles of mountains, glaciers, lakes and rivers, its attractions
are almost inexhaustible. Your Tour Director will be on hand to help you make the most of
your day at leisure.

in the Rockies. On arrival at Kamloops, we transfer you to your overnight hotel.

Day 7 - Kamloops / Vancouver on the Rocky Mountaineer
Reboard the train for day two of its journey, which follows the whitewater rush of the Thompson

surging through Hell's Gate gorge. The scenery is complemented by superb service aboard the train
and the comfort of reclining seats. We reach the end of the iron road in the Pacific Rim city of
Vancouver for a four night stay.
