Day 2 - Toronto
With a full day and night to enjoy Toronto's highlights, plan your day at leisure with as much or as little as you like. The revitalized waterfront is home to Queen's Quay for high end shopping or the Harbourfront Centre, a large cultural center occupying ten acres of former industrial land including an old power plant that is now a gallery. This cosmopolitan city also boasts a theatre district, second only to Broadway or London. You may be lucky enough to get theatre tickets or enjoy the atmosphere of a lively music bar.
Hotel: Courtyard by Marriott

Day 3 - Toronto
You’ll have no trouble filling a thrilling day in this thriving city, though optional tours are available to help you make the most of every minute. A handy ‘lie-of-the-land’ optional tour takes you to landmarks including the Dominion Center, Casa Loma Castle, Commerce Court and the Old and New City Halls, and makes a good orientation tour for individual exploration. Inveterate shoppers, gourmets and gourmands should head for the glass dome of Eaton Place, sheltering a cornucopia of eateries and emporiums. Those with a good head for heights shouldn’t miss the chance to take a trip to the top of the CN Tower, the tallest free standing structure in the world. For a meal with mood food and a view, try the stylish bars and restaurants along the waterfront. And for a taste of Toronto both timeless and futuristic, stroll through the city’s Maple Leaf Gardens then see the awesome architecture of the Skydome Stadium. Whatever you want, you’ve got it in Canada’s most upbeat city.
Hotel: Courtyard by Marriott

Day 4 - Toronto / Niagara Falls
It’s a change of scene and tempo today as we leave the busy metropolis and follow the shoreline of Lake Ontario en route to one of North America’s most famous natural landmarks, Niagara Falls. The town, of the same name, boasts fine hotels and restaurants, gardens and a casino, and is our base for a two night stay. There may be the chance today for an unforgettable extra dimension to your holiday - an optional helicopter flight seeing trip above the Falls.
Hotel: Best Western Cairncroft

Day 5 - Niagara Falls
With a full day to enjoy the town and the Falls themselves, talk to your Tour Director about the options open to you. It may be a spray-soaking sail on the Maid of the Mist, the best perspective for the ultimate photo of the awesome horseshoe cascade, a visit to the IMAX theatre's presentation of the region’s splendour, or a fun night of Canadian cuisine and entertainment at the “Oh Canada Eh” dinner theatre.
Hotel: Best Western Cairncroft

Day 6 - Niagara Falls / Lancaster Area
We cross the international border into the USA today, travelling through charming countryside to the heartland of the Amish ‘plain people’ in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Making a living off the land and renowned for their handcrafted furniture and quilts, many of these communities shun even electricity in the dedication to the simple life. We overnight in Lancaster, where your evening is at leisure.
Hotel: Lancaster Host

Day 7 - Lancaster Area / Washington DC
It’s a fairly short hop due south, today, to a whole different world. Our destination is the nation’s capital, Washington DC. We begin the day with an included sightseeing tour of a city with more than its fair share of sights. You'll see the Smithsonian Institute, the much photographed Lincoln Memorial, the white-domed Capitol building and the green lawns of the White House. And we take you to Arlington National Cemetery to see the graves of John F Kennedy and his brother Bobby. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore. Perhaps choose a stylish restaurant this evening for a special last-night meal.
