Treasures of Egypt Itinerary

Day 1 - London Heathrow/Luxor
Begin your holiday with an afternoon EgyptAir flight to Luxor. If this flight is not available you will depart a day earlier, travelling via Cairo, and overnight at Fairmont Heliopolis before flying down to Luxor. On arrival, transfer to M.S Magic. (D)

Day 2 - Luxor/Esna
Take an optional excursion to the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings and East Bank including the Karnak temple, before proceeding to Esna.

Day 3 - Esna/Edfu/Kom Ombo/Aswan
Today you will sail to Edfu and visit the temple of Horus, before sailing on to Kom Ombo and then proceeding to Aswan to overnight.

Day 4 – Aswan
Today have the opportunity to enjoy an optional excursion around Aswan including the Aswan High Dam and a motorboat trip on the Nile. You will overnight in Aswan.

Day 5 - Aswan
Partake in the opportunity to fly to Abu Simbel in the early morning and then transfer to your hotel.

Day 6 - Aswan/Cairo
Today you will board your morning flight with EgyptAir to Cairo. On Arrival you will transfer to your hotel.

Day 7 – Cairo
Spend today at leisure, undertaking your own explorations. See the nearby Pyramids and Sphinx.

Day 8 - Cairo/London Heathrow
Depart on your afternoon EgyptAir flight, non-stop to London Heathrow, arriving late afternoon or fly to Sharm El Sheikh for your beach extension. (B)

Esna Lock closure: During the closure of the Esna Lock (in June and Dec), cruise boats will be moored at Esna, incurring slightly longer journeys to/from Luxor for sightseeing. Please ask our Travel Consultants for further details.

The M.S Magic offers 72 spacious air-conditioned cabins including 4 suites, twin or double bedded with a television, mini-bar, hairdryer, safe and marble bathroom with shower. Each cabin has a large window and some of the upper deck cabins have a sofa-bed for accommodating an extra adult or child.

Please note:
All cabins are non-smoking. Nile cruising is not recommended for people with walking difficulties or children below 5 years.
