New York Harbour Cruise
Experience a narrated harbour cruise sailing up the Hudson and East Rivers in Manhattan. You will cruise by historic sites such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Colgate Clock. Of course, the highlight of the harbour cruise is the up-close view of the Statue of Liberty National Monument and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, two of the most celebrated landmarks in the USA.
On Top of the World
The Empire State Building is the tallest building in NYC. If you think it is beautiful from the ground, wait until you see the view from the top! There's nothing like the feeling you'll get when you finally reach the top and look out beyond the observation deck...it's almost as if you're at the top of the world and can see endlessly over the mecca that is New York City. The elevator ride to the top is almost worth the entire trip, shooting straight up at lightening speeds in the country's longest elevator ride!

Boston Duck Tour
The fun begins as soon as you board your "DUCK", an authentic, renovated World War II amphibious landing vehicle. First, you'll be greeted by the ConDUCKtor, who'll be narrating your tour. Then you're off on a journey like you've never had before. You'll see all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts, from the golden-domed State House to Bunker Hill, Boston Common to the Big Dig, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower, and more. Evening Atop Quebec
Enjoy a delectable dinner this evening in Quebec City, where you will also have time in the Upper City and at Place d'Armes. Browse the picturesque Treasure Street where artists display their crafts, and see the spectacular view of the Old Lower Town and the St Lawrence River from Dufferin Terrace.
Along the St Lawrence
Join us at Mont Morency Falls and its impressive 83 metre high falls, for a spectacular look-out over the St Lawrence, Ile d'Orleans and the Capital. Ride a cable car to the top of the falls and enjoy the surrounding panorama. Continue to the Ile d'Orleans noted for its quaint French villages, handicrafts and farm stands. We will have dinner at a sugarhouse, noted for its copious meals, lavishly enhanced by maple syrup, with a bit of entertainment too. (Admission to park and cable car ride included.)

Eastern Adventure Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - UK to New York
A daytime flight to New York begins your Jetsave holiday. You are met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
Accommodation - Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Avenue.
Day 2 - New York
Our included sightseeing tour of Manhattan takes you past some of the famous landmarks that make up the most recognised of city skylines - Empire State Building, Broadway and Chinatown. During the remainder of the day at leisure, you may wish to visit Greenwich Village or shop in the big name stores, or hop on a helicopter for an optional flight seeing tour of Manhattan Island.

Day 3 - New York to Boston
Leaving the 'Big Apple' behind us, we make an early start on our journey through Connecticut into Massachusetts. Our adventure continues into Boston, the gateway to New England, where quaint shops, famous landmarks and historical and literary legacies make up a cosmopolitan atmosphere blended with celebrated tradition. Here we will stop for lunch in Quincy Market, an enormous food court, where street performers, bars, restaurants, and crowds from all over the world make their appearance in one of Boston's most popular destinations. From there we will continue with our historic theme and view the city's highlights on our included sightseeing tour. Our introduction includes Boston Common, Faneuil Hall, Copley Square, and of course the Freedom Trail. The remainder of your day is at leisure and your Tour Director will be on hand to advise of the options in this central city.

Day 4 - Boston to Quebec City
A superbly scenic journey cuts through New Hampshire to the Canadian border and continues through the picturesque village of Sherbrooke, one of the Eastern Townships, to the French-Canadian state capital, Quebec City. On arrival we check into the hotel where we stay for two nights. The hotel is located in downtown Quebec so you can easily walk through the city walls along the charming streets of Old Quebec to the boardwalk in front of the famous Chateau. The art galleries and souvenir shops are a must for all visitors. An optional tour this evening gives you an insight to the city's landmarks and includes dinner at a popular local restaurant.

Day 5 - Quebec City
An included sightseeing tour begins the day today. The only walled city in North America, the fairytale turrets of the Chateau Frontenac dominate the upper level, while the quaintly colourful lower streets are lined with lesser buildings. The tour includes the Place des Armes and wonderfully preserved Place Royale, and concludes at the Marche de Vieux-Port, the perfect place to begin your leisurely exploration. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your own pace.

Day 6 - Quebec City to Montreal
Taking the lead from the St. Lawrence, we begin the journey to Montreal, a marvelously mixed metropolis, where historic architecture is juxtaposed with modern amenities. You will have the opportunity to shop in the miles of underground malls or see some of the unforgettable sights including the Palais de Justice and Basilique de Bonsecours. After checking in at our hotel, your evening is at leisure.

Day 7 - Montreal to Ottawa
Bid farewell to Montreal as we leave the St. Lawrence for a brief but beautiful detour to Canada's graceful capital city, Ottawa. Comparatively small but packing a host of cultural attractions into its cosmopolitan centre, the city offers opera, theatre and dance, plus a fine selection of excellent eateries for the evening. Should you wish for an optional guided tour of the city, which includes the Governor General's residence, Parliament Hill and the National Arts Center, your Tour Director will be happy to arrange this for you.

Day 8 - Ottawa to Toronto
Today we head south back to the banks of the St. Lawrence. From here we take a westerly route adjacent to the Thousand Islands, where the scenery is breathtaking, relaxing and tranquil. We will make a stop at Kingston, where you will have time to explore before reaching Toronto.

Day 9 - Toronto
You'll have no trouble in filling a thrilling day in this thriving city. Stroll along the waterfront, ride up to the top of the CN Tower (the world's tallest free-standing structure), or visit the shops of the Eaton Centre. We also have several optional tours arranged, a city sightseeing tour, a Toronto harbour cruise or a night tour with dinner.

Day 10 - Toronto to Niagara Falls
We curve around the corner of Lake Ontario today, heading for one of the world's natural wonders, Niagara Falls. An attractive town with pretty gardens and a popular casino have grown around this visitors' magnet, and we will overnight here. Why not join us on an optional helicopter ride for an unforgettable vista of the Falls?

Day 11 - Niagara Falls
A full day at the Falls could see you enjoying the natural wonders Niagara houses from a variety of vantage points. Why not join an optional excursion to sail on the famous Maid of the Mist, which takes you as close to the falls as possible. Take in an IMAX presentation, which provides a great introduction to Niagara Falls and the beauty it surrounds. Tonight you'll have the choice to join us for a unique evening of food, music, and entertainment at the Oh Canada Eh? Dinner Theatre. Your Tour Director will be happy to help you make the very most of your day, and evening at leisure. Please note the Maid of the Mist may not be available before mid May or after mid October.

Day 12 - Niagara Falls to Lancaster Area
Today we re-cross the border into the USA, then through Pennsylvanian panoramas to the state capital, Harrisburg. A pleasant city of colonial style wooden shuttered houses. Leaving Harrisburg we follow the Susquehanna River moving into the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Lancaster. Your evening here is at leisure.

Day 13 - Lancaster Area to Washington DC
A route due south takes us into Washington DC, the only stateless city in America and perhaps the most elegant capital in the world. We spend the last two nights here, with an optional evening excursion to view the illuminated city in its after-dark persona. Perhaps stroll the green Mall, liberally sprinkled with monuments or choose from the city's renowned range of restaurants for a specialty meal.

Day 14 - Washington DC
An included city sightseeing tour starts your day today, taking you to the distinctive dome of the Capitol building, to the peaceful acres of Arlington National Cemetery, which holds the graves of the Kennedy brothers, to the much-photographed Lincoln Memorial, and past the White House itself, before ending at the Smithsonian Institute. Now that you have your bearings, do some personal exploration - then, why not make your last night one to remember by joining us on a farewell tour by night?

Day 15 - Washington DC to New York / UK
Today we return to New York Airport in the early afternoon for your overnight flight to the UK.
Day 16 - Return Landing
