Eastern Explorer Itinerary

Day 1 UK to Toronto

Start your journey with a flight to Toronto. A Jonview representative will meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel, where you'll meet your Tour Director. The rest of the day is yours to explore Toronto. Hit the top of the CN Tower for amazing views across the city.

Day 2 Toronto

Meet your fellow travellers at breakfast, before setting out to see the rest of Toronto's sights, with a morning tour and your afternoon at leisure. Don't miss the Canadian Museum of Cultural Heritage, made of 24,000 pieces of marble and stone.

Day 3 Toronto to Montreal

Leaving Toronto early, we head east along Lake Ontario's north shore, stopping in the beautiful Thousand Islands region, where we embark on a relaxing cruise. After taking in the sights and sounds of this river playground, it's on to Montréal.

Day 4 Montreal

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Montréal this morning, the world's second-largest French speaking city, with your afternoon free for exploring at your own pace. Be sure to see Notre-Dame Basilica and Montréal Tower.

Day 5 Montreal to Quebec City

Set off from Montréal, as we follow the Chemin du Roy deep into French Canada. On arrival in Québec, we'll tour the walled city and see the famous city gates, Lower Town, the Citadel and Battlefields Park.

Day 6 Quebec City

Enjoy a full day in Québec City, taking in sights like Old Québec, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Petit-Champlain District's shops and Montmorency Falls Park.

Day 7 Quebec City to Ottawa

Travel west across Ontario's border to Ottawa, Canada's capital. Get familiar with the city on our sightseeing tour, then spend the rest of the day at leisure. The city's highlights include Rideau Canal, Parliament Hill and ByWard Market.

Day 8 Ottawa

Have breakfast Aboriginal-style today at Aboriginal Experiences, Victoria Island. Then enjoy a free afternoon, maybe exploring Ottawa's museums and art galleries, shopping at Sparks Street Mall or maybe a cruise on one of the city's waterways.

Day 9 Ottawa to Midland

Journey west from Ottawa, stopping off at Algonquin Provincial Park to explore its amazing lakes, forests and wildlife, before heading on to the Muskoka region, where we'll stay overnight.

Day 10 Midland to Niagara Falls

Start today with breakfast at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, a recreated 17th century French Jesuit village. Then, it's onwards past Toronto, through Niagara Peninsula's orchards and vineyards, to Niagara Falls. Experience an exciting boat ride on the Maid of the Mist, which brings you right to the foot of the thundering falls. Your evening's free for exploring North America's 'honeymoon capital'.

Day 11 Niagara Falls to Toronto

Leave Niagara Falls behind, heading along scenic Niagara Parkway, through Niagara-on-the-Lake, with its historic forts and 19th century feel. This afternoon completes the tour with a short drive back to Toronto. Get ready for an exciting evening, with a special 'Farewell to Canada' dinner at the CN Tower.

Day 12 Toronto to UK

Spend this morning at leisure, maybe doing any last-minute souvenir shopping, before your transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK.
