Explore the provinces of Ontario and Quebec on this self drive journey. Travel along Lake Ontario from Toronto then journey east to taste the unique flavour of French Canada. The northern journey from Ottawa travels through Algonquin Park and onto Niagara Falls before returning to Toronto.

Day 1 & 2 – Toronto
Arrive in Toronto and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Spend the whole of your second day at leisure in this lively city, taking in sights like the CN Tower and Art Gallery of Ontario.

Day 3 – Toronto to Kingston (260km)
Drive east today, direct to Kingston, and tour Fort Henry, first built in the early 19th century when Canada was a British colony Or alternatively, choose the route that passes through the heritage towns of Prince Edward Country

Days 4 & 5 – Kingston to Montréal (290km)
Head to Montreal today and en route, you'll enter the beautiful Thousand Islands region, where you can hop on board a cruise to explore the scenery. On Day 5, visit Montréal's Notre-Dame Basilica, Old Montréal, Olympic site, Biodome, Mt. Royal Park, the casino or the underground city. Spend your evening enjoying the city?s famous nightlife.

Days 6 & 7 – Montréal to Québec City (250km)
Journey to Québec City today, stopping off at Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Canada's national shrine to the Virgin Mary. Once in Québec City, take in sights including its city walls, historic national park, Place Royale and the Basilica.

Days 8 & 9 - Québec City to Ottawa (460km)
Visit more local attractions today, like the Wolfe-Montcalm Monument or Dufferin Terrace Drive, one of many routes to Ottawa, Canada's capital. Spend Day 9 exploring this historic city, with highlights including Parliament Hill, Rideau Canal and the National Gallery of Canada.

Days 10 & 11 – Ottawa to Huntsville (350km)
Enjoy a scenic drive today to Algonquin Provincial Park and the Muskoka region. In the Huntsville area, you'll find tennis, golf, boat cruises and horse riding, and a short drive away is Lion?s Lookout Park and Muskoka Pioneer Village.

Day 12 – Huntsville to Niagara Falls (330km)
Set off for Niagara Falls today, heading south past Toronto. We suggest a stop in Midland at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, a recreation of a 17th century village, where Ontario's first European community lived. We then continue our journey to the awesome Niagara Falls.

Day 13 – Niagara Falls to Toronto (130km)
Drive back to Toronto today, through Ontario?s fruit growing region. On route, visit Niagara-on-the-Lake, with its tree lined avenues and beautiful houses, you can see why it's known as 'the prettiest town in Canada'. Then stop off at the incredible Welland Canal, before returning to Pearson International Airport for your flight home.
