Ann Harness

Speciality Areas: USA

A proud 4th generation Wyoming resident, Ann finds her inspiration as a tour director in her western roots. Whether she is sharing her passion for the beauty of the Rocky Mountains or the struggles between Native Americans and settlers, Ann brings a personal perspective to the relationship between landscape, people, and the history that ties them together.

In spite of growing up in a small-town funeral home, Ann's family had a passion for life and travel. Due to her parents' penchant for dragging their children to all 50 states to witness everything from scenic natural splendors to the world's largest ball of twine, Ann came away with the travel bug and has been criss-crossing America ever since. Whether she is hiking in National Parks, exploring the neighborhoods of her favorite cities, or collecting stories of fascinating characters along the way, she is always looking for ways to share those unique experiences with future Jetsave clients. An avid reader, film buff and music-lover, Ann tries to incorporate all of her interests into her tours, making the holiday an unforgettable experience for her clients.

Having worked for Jetsave since 2001 and leading tours all over the United States, "Route 66", remains her favorite. The combination of cities and small towns, prairies and mountains, kitschy roadside attractions and eccentric characters makes the 2000-mile journey both fun and fascinating. She also is passionate about the Civil War history and different genres of music on "Southern Music & Dixieland" tour.

Alice Kirby

Speciality Areas: Southern States

I am a Southern girl "born and bred"! I have lived, worked, and traveled the South most of my life, and I love sharing it with others. I was raised in Louisiana and currently live about 30 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia.

In the fall of 2001, I started with Jetsave working on the "Big Five" tour, but today, I travel the south for Jetsave on their "Southern Music and Dixieland" tour.

Jetsave's "Southern Music and Dixieland" is all about exploring the music that has its roots in the South to sampling the wonderful foods to experiencing "Southern Hospitality".

Ella Johnson

Speciality Areas: East Coast

I was born in Idaho next to Fort Hall Shoshone Bannock Native American Reservation My father was in the Navy when I was growing up, so we traveled and moved to different cities in the USA. I went to several schools, and learned to adjust quickly to these environments, as well as developing a love for travel.

I have lived in various regions of the country; one of my favorites is the East coast. The tours I do featuring the eastern seaboard are: Eastern Adventures (with Boston and Quebec as my favorite cities) and the Big Five (with Philadelphia as the favorite here) I love American history, and interesting trivia on some of the early founding fathers. Ask me about Benjamin Franklin...

One of my hobbies is being a restaurant critic and food connoisseur, and The Great American Crossing tour gets me to all the best restaurants from New York City to Los Angeles, and seeing everything in the middle. The natural beauty of Yellowstone, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon combined with interesting people that shaped this wild frontier gives this tour my top pick.

Jeff Hall

Speciality Areas: Canada

My passion for the beauty of the Canadian Rockies started back in my hometown of Ottawa, Ontario. My first trip to western Canada was through a school program in the summer of 1973. The turquoise blue color of the mountain lakes such as Lake Louise and Peyto Lake along with its stunning glaciers became imprinted in my Memory. "I am definitely coming back"! I first arrived in the resort town of Jasper for a summer Job at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Working as a Bellman and then as the Hotels first Chauffeur driver, this gave me the opportunity to hone my commentary skills and share my love of the mountains with its natural features. After 15 years as a Tour Director, it has truly been a privilege and an honor to share this landscape with visitors from around the world. I am very lucky to live in a POSTCARD!!!

Justine Hill

Speciality Areas: West Coast

Grew up in a village in the mountains of New York State, where I developed my love of the outdoors. My favourite memories from childhood are raking leaves in autumn, canoeing the mountain lakes, climbing apple trees in spring, and singing songs around a summer campfire.

After earning degrees in humanities, the arts and human behaviour, I set out to travel the world and learn about cultures, countries and customs. I studies anthropology, worked in archaeology, and embarked on a diverse A-Z career which has included museum work, travel writer, caterer, translator, and most recently travel photographer which taught me to "see" the details and beauty of the world around me. All of these threads are woven into the tapestry of the tours I lead.

I have lived on both the East and West Coasts of the country, and have travelled to most of the 50 states. Currently I live in the California desert. I've been leading Jetsave tours since 1998, and love sharing the variety and contrasts of our country with visitors. I especially love the open spaces of the Southwest - the western towns, ghost towns, big cities, farming towns, rugged mountains, coastal beauty, cowboy culture, Native American culture, sacred sites, natural wonders, and the strange and unique and amazing desertscape with its magical light and endless horizon. I look forward to sharing the wonders of our amazing country with you!
